Abstract

1534928 Shower baths H A V JOHANSSON 24 June 1976 26411/76 Heading A4N [Also in Division E1] An invalid shower bath having a built-in water closet comprises a tub 1 having a shower device such as apertures 14 for washing a person sitting on a holed seat such as 20, the tub 1 having (a) a shower water discharge 15 in a bottom portion 16, and (b) an adjacent upstanding portion 17 having a platform 19 with a hole 23 below the seat hole 24, there being below the platform 19 a water closet device 26. The w.c. device 26 comprises a bowl 27, trap 31 and a flush pipe 28 feeding an annular flushing channel 33. The tub 1 has a removable front door 10 and is shown supported by U-shaped members 46-47 leaving three sides open to accomodate the undercarriage of a wheel chair, Fig. 3 (not shown) which has a holed seat (21) which can be manoeuvred by an elevating column (40) to a position corresponding to that of the (now removed) seat 20.
