Abstract

1534361 Dispensing liquids DAGMA DEUTSCHE AUTOMATEN-UND GETRANKEMASCHINEN GmbH & CO 16 March 1976 [21 March 1975 29 July 1975] 10539/76 Heading B8N [Also in Division B1] In a carbonated drinks dispenser cooled carbonated water 27 is caused to flow 38 at atmospheric pressure and a flavouring substance 9 at a higher temperature is introduced under its own static pressure into the water. The resultant rise in temperature causes a sudden release of carbon dioxide which effects mixing. The water is impregnated to near maximum solubility by bubbling the carbon dioxide through a porous body 29 to cause fine bubbles. The flavouring substance, e.g. syrup or fruit juice, has a sugar content sufficiently high for selfpreservation. The temperature of the flavouring substance is preferably ambient. The water is cooled before introduction into the storage vessel 26 as a fine spray.
