Abstract

Water is contacted with pressurised carbon dioxide to produce carbonate water for pressure mixing with the syrup thus producing the carbonated mixed drink required. Carbon dioxide under pressure is added to the waer before the syrup. turbulent fluid at 4.4 degrees C and upwards is mechanically mixed with the carbon dioxide so that part of this is absorbed by the water.
