Abstract

A dispenser for fruit concentrate in conjunction with a known water cooler 1 comprises means 3 into which a conventional concentrate bottle 2 can be screwed by its neck whilst upright, then rotated as shown in Fig 3 to the dispense position of Fig 4.

Description

Fruit Concentrate Dispenser The invention relates to water coolers that
are often used in offices and public environments.
Water coolers are very popular in work environments however they do not allow for the variety of tastes of all people. So often fruit concentrate is added to water to make it more appealing. However as a separate bottle this can be lost or spilt and is not convenient.
The object of this invention is to provide fruit concentrate in a clean safe and convenient environment.
This invention enables existing fruit concentrate bottles to be used. Removing the need for new bottle neck design. This is achieved by being able to invert the fruit concentrate dispenser.
Preferably the stand is made of plastic so as to match the cooler and avoid water damage.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: FIGURE 1 shows the front view of the dispenser attached to a water cooler. Where (1) is the cooler body, (2) is the fruit concentrate bottle, (3) is the dispenser unit, (4) is the liquid dispenser tap, (5)is the drip tray and (6) is a cup.
FIGURE 2 shows a side view of the dispenser on the side of the cooler. The dispenser is in the inverted position so as to allow a cordial bottle to be screwed into the dispenser.
FIGURE 3 shows a side view of the dispenser on the side of the cooler. The dispenser has rotated half way back to its working position.
FIGURE 4 shows a side view of the dispenser on the side of the cooler. The dispenser is now in its fixed working position.
The fruit concentrate dispenser can be combined with a water cooler to provide convenient dispensing of fruit concentrate in a clean safe manner. Standard fruit concentrate bottles can be attached by inverting the dispenser and screwing the bottle in so as to avoid spillage. To return the dispenser to a working position you simply rotate the dispenser 180 and it then locks in place. Or any combination thereof.

Claims (6)

  1. Claims 1. A fruit concentrate dispenser that can be applied to a water
    cooler allowing a fruit concentrate container to be attached.
  2. 2. A dispenser as claimed in Claim 1 which allows for the dispenser to be rotated to allow the attachment of a fruit concentrate container without spilling the contents.
  3. 3. A dispenser as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 where the bearing is provided with a ball catch which engages depressions in the surface of the post when the bearing is rotated.
  4. 4. A dispenser as claimed in any proceeding claim including a dispenser tap and a drip tray to prevent spillages going on the floor.
  5. 5. A dispenser as claimed in any proceeding claim which is made from metal, plastics material, or from a combination of these materials.
  6. 6. A dispenser substantially as herein described above and in the accompanying drawings.
