1534318 Radiator caps GENERAL MOTORS FRANCE 4 Aug 1977 [12 Aug 1976] 33585/76 Heading B8T A closure cap is formed of 3 cup shaped members 3, 6, 14 each arranged concentrically within and inverted relative to the next largest, with annular seals 9, 11, 17 and springs 15, 22, such that excess air acts on spring 15 to raise cup member 14 from seal 11 to provide a passage to the airway 23, 24 provided between cup member 3 and the neck 2, while incoming air acts on spring 22 to release the seal 17 and allow pressure equilibrium to be maintained.
