Wheel guards and obstructionremovers. - A safety guard for motor and like vehicles comprises a number of transverse horizontal battens e connected by means of joints f, which allow the battens a vertical sliding movement, to two frames b, each of which is pivoted to a bracket a at a point c directly above the stub-axle pivot and has an arm connected to the outer end of the stub-axle, whereby the guard is constrained to follow the lateral movements of the wheels in steering. Rollers g are provided on the lower part of the guard in order that the guard may easily pass over small inequalities in the road surface. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 18080/14.
