Safety wheels. - Single-track motor-vehicles are provided on the two sides of the rear wheel a with large auxiliary supporting-wheels r, r<1> which are adjustable both vertically and horizontally. The axles t, t<1> of the auxiliary wheels form the rear members of horizontal jointed parallelograms f, h, i, t, and f<1>, h<1>, i<1>, t<1>, the sleeves f, f<1> being rotatable about a cross-bar c. The arms i, i<1> are extended at k, k<1> to engage between a cross-piece n and the ends of a laminated spring carried below the cross-piece. The arms h, h<1> are also extended and are forked to engage with bell-crank levers s, s<1> which are connected to operating-means whereby the wheels may be displaced laterally as shown in broken lines. The cross-piece n is connected by parts m, m<1> to a rotatable sleeve l which has an arm p connected to a pedal for raising and lowering the auxiliary wheels from, and to, the ground. The wheel a is mounted in stays b, b<1> pivoted to the cross-bar c, laminated springs being provided to bear at their rear ends upon the axle.
