1529777 Mixing and circulating materials T B M A EUROPE BV 23 June 1977 [23 June 1976] 26378/77 Heading B1C A mixer comprises a vertical housing 1 having therein a device for upwardly conveying the materials to be mixed along a tube surrounding the device 15 the tube having one or more apertures 11, 12 through which materials can be ejected laterally, shrouding members 13, 14 being provided around the or each aperture to permit freedom of material discharge during mixing when the housing is full. The shrouding members are of conical configuration widening from the top towards the bottom of the housing. The feeding or conveying device is in the form of a feed screw which is driven from the top of the housing by a motor 16, the device simultaneously mixing and circulating the materials.
