Abstract

1,130,721. Dough mixers. D. AYRES JONES & CO. Ltd. 22 Nov., 1965 [3 Sept., 1964], No. 36213/64. Heading B1C. A dough mixer comprises two pairs of blades 4, 5 rotatable about a vertical axis in the lower part of an open or openable container I, and interdigitating with two blades 6, 7 projecting inwardly from the container wall. The blades have cutting edges (4a-7a, Fig. 2 not shown). The rotatable blades are detachable from the spindle by means of a bayonet joint 19, 20; the fixed blades are vertically adjustable may be adjustably retractable through the container wall, and .may be made in two parts securable in cranked formation. The container may be placed under reduced pressure.
