Abstract

The high-pressure steam boiler contains a boiler drum (1) forming a high-pressure chamber, in which a high temperature prevails. A plurality of guide rollers (3) for guiding the textile material (2) are provided within the boiler drum (1). Located at the inlet (7) for the textile material (2) is a first sealing device (6) which contains a pressure-reducing chamber (12) and a unit (16) with sealing rollers. This unit is provided with inlet orifices (14) for compressed air and is arranged above the pressure-reducing chamber (12). Provided at the outlet (9) for the textile material (2) is a second sealing device (8) which contains a liquid shut-off chamber (15) and a unit (16) with sealing rollers. This unit is likewise provided with inlet orifices (14) for compressed air. The textile material (2) is treated under high pressure, but without tension, in the boiler drum (1). <IMAGE>
