Abstract

A stable aqueous solution of an arsenobenzene compound, intended for therapeutic use, is prepared by dissolving the compound in water which has been rendered gas-free by the use of vacuum and then subjecting the solution to vacuum. In the case of dioxydiaminoarsenobenzene hydrochloride, alkali may also be added in slight excess of that required to neutralize the solution. The resulting solutions are sealed in ampoules, preferably under vacuum.
