Abstract
Solutions of salts of p-aminobenzene sulphonthiourea with ethanolamines are obtained, reacting the substances in presence of water. Advantageously, such solutions are stabilized by adding 0.2-0.5 per cent by weight of sodium sulphite, an alkali citrate (particularly trisodium citrate), or a mixture of a citrate with sodium sulphite. The solutions are neutral and may be employed therapeutically. In examples: (1) p-aminobenzene-sulphonthiourea, triethanolamine, anhydrous sodium sulphite and distilled water are shaken together to obtain a solution which is charcoaled and filtered; (2) the procedure of (1) is effected, replacing sodium sulphite with trisodium citrate.
