Abstract

In the production of N-dioxypropyl-p-aminophenol, or its alkyl ethers, the process described in the parent Specification is modified by substitution of a - or b -dichlorhydrin for a -monochlorhydrin or glycide. The chloro compound first obtained is saponified by alcoholic potash.
