Abstract

The electronic converter comprises a first group of cascaded binary registers, a plurality of cascaded logic gates which are connected to the binary registers in order to divide the frequency of the signals which it receives by a fractional number and a second group of cascaded binary registers whose input is connected to the output of the last gate in order to produce at the output of the second group an approximately decimal fraction of the frequency at the input of the first group of binary registers. The converter is used in a timepiece with single time base which, besides the displaying of time in hours, minutes and seconds, has a chronograph function with indication of tenths or hundredths of a second. <IMAGE>
