Abstract

151,088. Railing, M. J., and Marshall, C. H. June 16, 1919. Pressure-regulating valves.-A pressure-regulaing valve actuated by a diaphragm or the like is provided with means between the diaphragm chamber and the valve whereby a liquid seal may be made when it is desired to have access to the diaphragm chamber. The valve C is counterbalanced by a weighted arm and is coupled to a member D connected by a flexible sleeve F to a base plate G. The member D has a depending sleeve K adapted to dip into an annular trough formed between two tubes H, H' which trough is adapted to be filled when desired through a funnel M or drained through a pipe N.
