Pressure-regulating valves. - A device for reducing pressure and for preventing concussion in water-pipes consists of a weighted lever F, attached to a stop-cock H in such a manner that when the pressure increases, for example, by turning-off a supply tap, the piston G is raised, carrying with it the lever F, and consequently turning-off the cock H.
