Abstract

1502946 Motor cycle radiators; fuel tanks; transmission gearing C WAYE 30 April 1975 [8 May 1974] 20306/74 Heading B7H A high performance motor cycle having a water-cooled engine is provided with radiators 29 on each side of the engine. A fuel tank 20 is divided into two compartments 23, 24 separated by a baffle 21, fuel being pumped from compartment 24 into compartment 23 to maintain a constant head of fuel in compartment 23 feeding carburettor 25. The motor cycle includes twin cylinders driving a shaft 9 which in turn drives a countershaft 11 through gears 8, 10. Rotating shaft 11 drives a generator 12 and a gear-box input shaft 14 through a chain 13.
