Electric-lamp lanterns and casings.-In an overhead lamp in which an electric lamp bulb 8 is secured to a ceiling yoke 2 and is enclosed in a globe 12, a concave reflector 6 having plane reflecting-elements 7 arranged in circular rows is carried by a spider or plate 4 slidably mounted on the socket of the electric lamp bulb and adjustably secured to the yoke 2 by means of screws 5. The reflecting-elements 7 are held in position by clips bent over their edges or corners and reflect all light which strikes them centrally to a point axially below the light fixture. An ornamental shell 10 is carried from the spider 4 by screw rods 11.
