Abstract

Globes; reflectors; globe and reflector holders.- A semi-indirect light fitting comprises a conical reflector 16 supported on the electric-lamp socket 11, a translucent diffusing-bowl 17 enclosing the electric-lamp bulb 10, an annular support 20 engaging the flange 18 on the bowl 17, and arms 21 attached to the ring and hooked at their upper ends on the edge of the reflector so as to leave a ventilating and light-transmitting opening between the bowl and the reflector. The reflector gallery 14 is secured to the lamp socket by a split ring 12 fastened, by a binding-screw 13. The annular support is preferably of slightly smaller diameter than the reflector and comprises a spring metal ring with an internal flange.
