Electric-lamp lanterns.-A portable electriclamp lantern comprises a tubular casing 1, a handle 25, an adjustable electric lamp bulb 3 and a mirror 15 arranged at one end of the casing 1 for projecting a parallel beam of light, and an electric lamp bulb 20 secured to a shoulder of a reflector 22 at the other end of the casing for emitting diffused light, the reflector 22 being held in position by the front glass 23. The electric-lamp bulbs are supplied with current from an external source by a cable passing through the handle, and are put into circuit by means of a metal rod 27 operated by a sliding rod 26 in the handle.
