Abstract

1485947 Pipe couplings FITTER & POULTON Ltd 7 Oct 1974 [7 Juy 1973 12 Feb 1974] 32474/73 and 06317/74 Heading F2G A conduit 5 is connected to an enclosure 1 in an electrical installation by a screw-threaded bush 6 having a flange 8 and an internal bore which is of non-circular configuration, e.g. polygonal convoluted or indented, for engagement by a key (not shown). The bore may be tapered converging away from the flange 8, and the flange is provided with upstanding teeth to grip the wall 3 of the enclosure 1. The key is engaged from within the enclosure to rotate the bush 6 or to hold it while the conduit 5 is rotated.
