Dynamos, driving.-In driving a lighting dynamo and a magneto from an explosion engine, the armature b of the dynamo is mounted on a hollow shaft e through which passes the shaft a for driving the magneto. The armature b is driven at a higher speed than that of the magneto shaft a by multiplying gear g, g<1>, f, f<1> of the frictiondisk type. The housing h for the gear-wheels is mounted eccentrically to the shaft e so that the gear-wheels may be placed into and out of engagement by rocking the housing. The dynamo field-magnet c and a voltage regulator d are arranged as shown.
