Abstract

1479923 Transductors SIEMENS AG 12 Aug 1974 [29 Aug 1973 30 Aug 1973(2)] 35358/74 Heading HIT [Also in Divisions G3 and H3] Two series-connected transductors control/ feedback windings n 2 carry a current I st derived wholly from the rectified output current I which is to be kept distant, the ampere-turns of the control windings exceeding those of the operating windings n 1 to ensure self-excitation, and a variable resistance regulator I K2 in shunt across the windings n 2 and controlled via an output deviation measuring resistor R M to maintain I constant. The windings may be associated with respective transductors Tr3, Tr4. Alternatively, the operating windings n 1 and the primary of the output transformer may be combined in a single toroidal winding on an encapsulated core structure containing saturable cores carrying the control windings n 2 and one or more non-saturable cores carrying respective windings forming the secondary of the output transformer. The cores are of wound strip, iron or ferrite.
