1473331 Open-end spinning chambers DAIWA BOSEKI KK and TOYODA JIDOSHOKKI SEISAKUSHO KK 13 Sept 1974 [19 Sept 1973] 40110/74 Heading DID In an open-end spinning machine with a spinning chamber entered by a fiber introducing channel a fiber guiding plate 9 is provided which is sector shaped and whose upstream end is located opposite the fiber outlet 8, the fiber guiding plate dividing the chamber into a fiber feeding part adjacent the fiber outlet and a yarn withdrawing part on the opposite side of the plate, the sector occupying “ to ¥ of the full sweep of the spinning chamber. The downstream edge of the sector may be extended at its periphery and a smaller radius portion 92 may extend partially or wholly through 'the portion unoccupied by the sector.
