Abstract

1430474 Openers, open end spinning DAIWA BOSEKI KK and TOYODA JIDOSHOKKI SEISAKUSHO KK 23 March 1973 [27 March 1972 (2)] 14259/73 Headings DID and D1N The fibre feed channel 5 from an opening roller 10 to an open end spinning rotor has one of its respective opposite walls which extend adjacent to the ends of the opening roller tapering toward the other in the downstream direction to an outlet which is offset with respect to the axis of rotation of the spinning rotor. One of these walls is less inclined relative to the axis of the opening roller than the other. The outlet of the channel may be more constricted in one side than the other. The opening roller may be wound with a plurality of saw tooth wires and rotate about a vertical axis. The fibre feed channel may be formed in a detachable block forming part of the housing of the opening roller 10.
