Abstract

1424555 Open end spinning SOC ALSACIENNE DE CONSTRUCTIONS MECANIQUES DE MULHOUSE 9 Nov 1973 [30 Nov 1972] 52129/73 Heading DID An open end spinning device comprises a thread guide outlet duct 37 coaxial with the rotating rotor and having its inlet in the rotor, a chamber 42 sealed on the end of the outlet duct and having a thread exit 38 offset with respect to the axis of the rotor, and an angular projection inclined in the chamber 42 in the thread path between the outlet duct 37 and the thread exit 38. As shown in Fig. 3, the thread from the rotor passes over angular projection 3 in the withdrawal tube 37, 38. In Fig. 4, a similar angular projection to that in Fig. 3 is provided in an inverted apparatus. In Fig. 5 the angular projection is formed by the end of withdrawal tube 38A.
