Abstract

1465136 Clamps HYDRAULIKPRODUKTER AB 7 March 1975 [14 March 1974] 9494/75 Headings E2A and E2B A clamp has two arms 3 movable towards and away from one another by a jack 1. two mutually opposed arms each having a pivoted portion 5 remote from its connection with the jack and a flexible strip 7 hingedly attached by a hook 15 to the end of a pivoted portion of the arm and a fixed mount 6 near the connection with the jack, whereby the flexible strip bears on the article, e.g. paper reels 8, to be gripped by moving the arms towards each other. The hook bears on a rounded end 14 of an apertured angled extension 12 on the top 11 of the arm portion 5. The aperture leaves space for a nut which, together with a bolt 24 secures the hook 15 onto an apertured extension of the steel portion 19 of a composite steel and vulcanised rubber 20 strip 18.
