[Also in Group XXV] A device for supporting cables in a cradle 2 from a flanged girder 8 comprises a hook member 9 for engaging a flange 7 of the girder, a rod 3 passing through a hole 12 in the hook member and having an end stop 14 limiting its movement through the hole and a clamping bracket 4 arranged to clamp the rod against the other girder flange 13 by the application of a screw member 16. The rod passes through a hole 15 in the bracket 4.
