Abstract

1369750 Hooks ROCOLA SHIRTS Ltd 11 April 1973 [6 July 1972] 31823/72 Heading E2A A hook suitable for carrying an article comprises a portion 3 on which the article may be hung and clamping means for securing the article to the portion. As shown the clamping means comprises a pair of pivoted members 6 (7 Fig. 2 not shown) spring loaded so as to be engageable about the portion 3 and being connected to the hook body by an elongate flexible member 5. Alternatively the clamping means may comprise a jaw at one end of an arm the other end of the arm being connected to a further arm pivotally mounted on the hook body, the further arm being spring biassed so as to urge the jaw towards the aforesaid portion of the hook (Figs. 3, 4, not shown). The hook further has a part 11 provided with an aperture 2 for the passage of an elongate supporting member such as a rail, line or the like. The hook body may be made from polypropylene and the clamping means 6 (7) from wood. With a hook or hooks mounted on the elongate supporting member, the latter may be mounted on a trolley which runs on a rail, a stop rod of the trolley engaging the hook or hooks to prevent rotation of the hook or hooks in one direction about the elongate support member (Figs. 5, 6, 7 not shown).
