Ordnance, discharging by means external to breech mechanism; sights.-Relates to apparatus of the kind described in the parent Specification, and consists in mounting the apparatus that indicates the adjustment to be imparted to the gun, and controls the. firing, not on the gun trunhion but on a rotary member caused to reproduce the movement of the gun trunnion by distant control apparatus. In the form shown, the arm H, which is controlled in the manner described in the parent Specification by a distant stabilized sighting-apparatus A, and the advance ignition contact q<3>, which is also driven as described in the parent Specification by gearing from a motor K, are mounted on a rotary disk Q turning in fixed bearings on a carrier F the disk being connected by distant control apparatus R, R<2>, R<3> to the gun trunnion J so that it reproduces the angular movement of the trunnion.
