Abstract

1451142 Cartons METAL BOX Ltd 5 March 1975 [15 Feb 1974] 7126/74 Heading B8P A tubular carton formed from a cardboard blank has a pouring opening formed by pulling up a top flap 25, the opening being resealed by pushing in the carton corner to the position shown in Fig. 4. When the flap 25 is first opened tabs 29, 32 are torn off along perforations 30, 34. When closing the opening, a portion 46 of a wall 13 is pushed inwardly about a line 45 and articulated corner portions 42, 43 fold in to hold the flap 25 against the other portion 27 of the carton top; a tab 35 provides a powderproof seal adjacent the top corners of the flap 25. As shown in Fig. 4, projections 47 are engaged by a tongue 48 to lock the flap 25 in its reclosed position.
