1438352 Fuel emulsion SVENSKA UTVECKLINGSAKTIEBOLAGET (SU) SWEDISH NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CO 23 Aug 1973 40079/73 Heading C5G [Also in Division B1] A fuel composition comprises a major proportion by weight of a liquid hydrocarbon mixture, water in the form of a microemulsion, 1-35 wt. per cent of an emulisfier consisting of a mixture of one or more carboxylic acids and one or more salts of the acids and 0À01-100 g./ litre of water at at least one water soluble inorganic compound dissolved in the water. Much detail is given on the acids and salts, and many inorganic compounds both simple and complex are listed. The hydrocarbon mixture may be motor fuel, kersene (paraffin oil), aviation fuel, petrol, cracked petrol, polymer petrol, diesel fuel or fuel oil.
