1438974 Fuel composition D F A MOHNHAUPT 29 May 1973 [30 May 1972] 25612/73 Heading C5G A liquid hydrocarburettor fuel contains from 0À5 to 5 wt. per cent, fully dissolved in the fuel, of a liquid or pasty additive which lowers the surface tension of the fuel, the additive being one or more compounds selected from ethoxylated alkylphenols and ethoxylated alkylnaphthols. The examples describe the use of ethoxylated alkyl phenols containing various numbers of oxyethylene groups.
