1362878 Gelled fuel MITSUBISHI OIL CO Ltd 1 Dec 1971 [2 Dec 1970 9 June 1971] 55867/71 Heading C5G A gelled fuel composition contains 97 to 99À5 vol. per cent hydrocarbon, and 0À5 to 3À0 vol. per cent sum of water and at least one of the following surface active agents wherein R = C 5 -C 20 alkyl, and optionally one or more of the following compounds The hydrocarbon has a boiling range of 35‹ to 550‹ C. Also included is a gel stabilizer, e.g. gelatin, agar, yolk, gum arabic or a polycarbonylic acid or polyol.
