Abstract

1430384 Lampholders ASHLEY ACCESSORIES Ltd 17 April 1973 [22 April 1972] 18797/72 Heading H2E A bayonet lampholder has two parallel blade contacts extending across the socket 11 and out through apertures 13. Each contact comprises a limb 14 cut and bent out of a longer limb 16 to give a double cantilever action, a spring terminal portion 20 for a wire C, and spring and fixed tabs 17, 18 to fix it in the body which is a one-piece moulding. The holder is fixed in an electric fire by any or all of screws, brackets 25 and spring clips (28, Fig. 10, not shown) which engage indentations 27 of ribs 26. Metal strips (not shown) may be used to interconnect two lampholders.
