Delivery stopping; stop-motions.-A pendulum wire D is hinged to the cap bar of doubling and twisting frames and is weighted and balanced so that it is held up by the weight wand the tension of the yarn, and, when an end breaks, its momentum in falling carries a stop-pad E cf flexible material between the rollers. When the frame slows down, the wire falls gently to its balanced position, and the pad is not inserted between the rollers. The pad may be pivoted to the wire or may be secured so as to be more or less rigid therewith.
