Abstract

1427657 Wrought aluminium alloy SOC DE VENTE DE L'ALUMINIUM PECHINEY 17 June 1974 [20 June 1973] 26652/74 Heading C7A Aluminium and other impurities balance. The alloy may be semi-continuously cast, subjected to a relaxation treatment at 400‹C, homogenized for 24 hours at 500‹C, dressed, hotrolled at 420‹C, held for 4 hours at 506 to 512‹C, water quenched to 20‹C, optionally 2% cold worked and aged for 5 to 40 hours at 155 to 185‹C. The alloy may be used in forged or rolled parts for the aviation and automobile industries.
