Abstract
1363977 Super-plastic Al-Si-Mg alloys SHOWA DENKO KK 24 Aug 1972 [28 Aug 1971] 39436/72 Heading C7A A super-plastic alloy has a composition falling within an area in the Al-Si-Mg ternary diagram defined by straight lines drawn between the following points. The alloy may also contain Ti 0À01-0À2%, B 0À004-0À03%, P 0À01-0À05%. The alloy is subjected to intense hot working to develop superplasticity, solution treated at 520‹C for 1-10 hours, quenched to 0-20‹C, and aged.
