Abstract

1425598 Ventilators GULLFIBER AB 2 Nov 1973 [13 Nov 1972] 51007/73 Heading F4V A combined ventilating device and lighting fitting to be mounted on a ceiling comprises a housing subdivided by a partition 12 into two chambers 14, 18 for air inlet and outlet to and from a room respectively, and fluorescent lamps 26 mounted in the chamber 18, the partition 12 including an opening controllable by a pivotally mounted flap 32. The chamber 14 includes sound absorbing material 22, e.g. mineral fibres and a perforate sheet 24 made of plaster. The chamber 18 communicates in use with the room via a slot 30. The chamber 14 is in use supplied with cooled air which flows partially into chamber 18 when flap 32 is open, and wholly into the room when the flap 32 is closed. The housing is made of sheet metal or plastics.
