1317780 Ventilating buildings GUSTAVSBERG FABRIKER AB 4 Aug 1970 [4 Aug 1969] 37590/70 Heading F4V A door frame adapted to ventilate a room 13 comprises a lintel divided into two compartments which communicate with air ducts 5, 7, respectively, one compartment having an opening to the room 13, and the or each frame jamb 1 forming an air duct connected at its upper end with the other compartment and at its lower end with one or more openings to the room 13. The ducts 5, 7 respectively supply heated fresh air and extract stale room air or vice versa. The duct openings may be controlled by valves. Room air may also be extracted through wall ducts (25, Fig. 1), which may communicate with the hollow jamb or jambs 1. The frame is made of steel sheet and plastics and includes cable ducts and recesses for switches or sockets.
