Abstract

1429745 Air conditioning buildings NIHON NETSUGAKU KOGYO CO Ltd and FUJI SASH KOGYO CO Ltd 2 April 1974 [5 Sept 1973] 14452/74 Heading F4V A unit used in the construction of the exterior wall of a building has a body portion 52 and a box-like portion 51 formed on a suitable part of its interior wall surface defining a space 56 of suitable size to house an air treating system. The box-like portion 51 has openings 57 and 59 for the passage of indoor air, while the exterior wall has an opening 62 communicating with the space 56 to exhaust indoor air or take in outdoor air. A heating and cooling system of the heat pump type may be installed in the space 56. The unit may be constructed so that the body portion (21), Fig. 6 (not shown), is above the box-like portion. A window (2) may be fitted above the unit, Fig. 2 (not shown).
