Abstract

The solar-heating panel is held in a frame (1) by an open or closed vertically-positioned section. Single or double glazing (3) is placed on the outside. The inside surface (4) can either be open or covered by a glazed panel (5) or a dark panel which may be insulated or not. In the case of a closed inside surface (4), an air-duct (7) is set in the bottom of the panel. The outlet (8) is controlled by a thermostatic or non-thermostatic shutter, leading into the room, the roof, or preferably into a water-heater. If the vertical sections are ebing used to heat a liquid, there is a distributor-pipe (10) and a collector-pipe (11).
