1417876 Electric couplings KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTEAG 3 Dec 1973 [7 Dec 1972] 55981/73 Heading H2E A shielding conductor 3 or 4 on a ribbon cable is connected to one of. the conductors 7 by clamp 5 or 6 which pierces the shield and insulation. Alternatively, the connection may be established by a screw or spike which may be mounted in the body of a connector at the cable end (Figs. 2, 3, not shown). The metallic clamp or other connector is used to provide the connection between shield and conductor only.
