Fluid-actuated valves.-A valve device for controlling gas burners from a distance comprises a ball valve 20 mounted in a chamber 8 so that, on increasing the gas supply by turning on a distantcontrol cock 1, the ball is rolled off the main outlet 17 up an incline to close the by-pass port 14. The chamber has a stop-pin 19 and is removably held in the casing 5 by a U-shaped pipe bend 10 pressed against a flange 13 on the chamber by a coupling-nut 11. The bend 10 is formed integrally with a plug cock 7, so that when the bend is moved into the dotted-line position, the gas supply is interrupted and the withdrawal of the chamber facilitated.
