Abstract
140,509. Soc. Anon. de Commentry Fourchambault et Decazeviile. Dec. 21, 1917, [Convention date]. Valves are made of an iron alloy containing 25-40 per eent of nickel, 10-15 per cent of chromium, 0.5-1 per cent of manganese, and 0.3 -1 per cent of carbon. One or more other metals may be present as follows : 2-5 per cent of tungsten or 1-3 per cent of molybdenum, 0.2-1 per cent of vanadium, 0.1-0.2 per cent of titanium, and up to 10 per cent of cobalt. Specificatior 140,507, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.], is referred to.
