Abstract
140,508. Soc. Anon. de Commentry Fourchambault et Decazeville. Dec. 20,1917, [Convention date]. Valves are made of an iron alloy containing 60- 70 per cent of nickel, 10-15 per cent of chromium, 1-2 per cent of manganese, 0.3-0.6 per cent of carbon, and either 2-5 per cent of tungsten or 1-3 per cent of molybdenum; or tungsten and molybdenum may be present together. One or more other metals may be present as follows: 0.2-1 per cent of vanadium, 0.1 -0.2 per cent of titanium, and up to 10 per cent of cobalt.
