1403739 Transferring liquid cargoes; luffing arm apparatus CONTINENTAL OIL CO 5 Dec 1972 [20 March 1972] 56124/72 Headings B8E and B8H A floating products line 13 extending from a mooring is connectable to the tankers products line 14 by flanges 15, 16 after entering an opening 11 in the bow. The line 13 can be lifted from the water and brought to the line 14 by connecting winch driven ropes 25, 30 by shackles to bands 17, 18, Fig. 1 or by an hydraulic piston cylinder arm arrangement 12a, 12b, 112, 115, 120, 101, Fig. 6 connectable to the line 13 by a clamp 134 operated by hydraulic piston cylinder devices 130-133 in conjunction with the winch driven rope 30.
