Abstract

1396883 Clean air work cabinets HEPAIRE FILTRATION Ltd 27 April 1972 [27 April 1971] 11644/71 Headings F4X and F4V A clean air work cabinet comprises a chamber 12 having an open face 11 for access thereto, a high efficiency filter 19, a fan 17 for recirculating air through the chamber 12 via the filter 17 and a perforate base 13, and an outlet from the cabinet upstream of the filter 19, whereby air is drawn into the chamber 12 through the opening 11. The outlet includes a high efficiency filter 20 or a choke and may be connected to a duct 35 leading to the exterior atmosphere. The base 13 includes an imperforate portion 21 and is removable, as is a pre-filter 16. The face 11 may be closed by a cover 37 to permit a sterilizing gas to be circulated within the cabinet. Fluorescent tubes 36 are provided in chamber 12.
