Abstract

1478180 Furniture-mounted stoves GBAUKNECHT GmbH ELEKTROTECHNISCHE FABRIKEN 1 Oct 1974 [2 Oct 1973] 42655/74 Heading F4W A cooking stove is mounted in a wooden housing 11 forming part of kitchen furniture, air inlet openings 14, 25 being provided along edges of the front of the stove, and the stove including a blower 4 to draw air through the inlet openings into spaces 10 between the stove and the housing and then into a suction chamber within the stove, the air being discharged from the suction chamber into a duct 26 connected to air outlet openings 27 disposed at the lower edge of the stove front between the inlet openings 25 which are also at the lower edge, wherein the airflow through the spaces 10 serves to cool the housing 11. The inlet openings 14 are provided in a strip 13 fixed at one or both vertical edges of the stove front to walls of the stove and housing. A seal 20 for a downwards pivotable oven door 7 includes a flap 21 trapped between the strip 13 and the stove wall. Resilient spacers 37 are fixed to the stove to maintain constant the width of the spaces 10. The suction chamber (3, Fig. 1) above an oven chamber 6 includes the transverse flow blower 4 and communicates with spaces 10 via slots (23) in the stove housing. The openings 25 and 27 are provided in a common strip 28.
