Abstract

1,195,750. Oven doors. SKAGERSVIKS INDUSTRIER A.B. 19 June, 1968 [19 June, 1967], No. 29191/68. Heading A2A. [Also in Division F4] An oven door comprises a heat insulated inner part 3 and an outer wall 5 spaced from the inner part to leave a passage 4 extending over the whole area of the door for a cooling air flow from an inlet 7 to an outlet 8. The air inlet 7 co-operates with a channel 13 opening at the bottom of the door frame, and the outlet 8 co-operates with an opening 11 at the top of the door frame, leading to a suction chamber 9 connected through a filter 12 and channel 10 to a fan (not shown). Windows 6 may be formed in both parts of the door. The suction chamber 9 prevents the escape of cooking fumes when the door is open.
